The Hamster On The Sea
Once upon a time,there was a little hamster that was sailing on the sea while she was in a...Can?? Now you might be wondering “Hm how did the Hamster even get there” But if you’re not thinking that well then...that’s ok I guess. Now back to the topic! How did the hamster get there?? Well let's go back in time and see what the hamster was doing.
3 days ago on a sunny island lived a little hamster named Zurielle! She lost her whole family and decided she had to live longer! She knew the perfect place to live which was...A PIRATES SHIP!!!! Oh wait...pirates on that island eat hamsters...which she did know and she knew it would be risky but she knew she had to go. So that night she climbed out of her leafy bed and went to the ship while the pirates were still asleep,but she then heard a noise from the back...OH NO THE CAPTAIN WOKE UP!! She knew she had to run so she ran and ran as fast as she could! She thought she wouldn’t make it because the captain was near but then she saw a rusty can and decided to jump in it to hide from the captain,and guess what?? She made it!
So right now you might be wondering “If she made it then how did she end up on the sea??” Which I will be able to answer that question for you! So carrying on with the story, Zurielle made it! But she didn’t know the consequences she would need to face. She started to feel cold but luckily she had a furry coat that her mother made her. She wore it and she felt very warm and cozy! She slept very nicely that night! But the next night was gonna be a disaster!
The next night came and Zurielle started to hear a storm coming so she covered the top of the can with a cloth a pirate accidentally dropped in the can! She was safe and she hadn’t got wet the whole night! But the next morning she thought it was quite sunny so she decided to wake up and relax on the sunrise completely forgetting about the pirates! But when she woke up...NO BOAT,NO PIRATES,NO ISLAND AND ONLY SEA WAS SEEN WHERE SHE WAS FLOATING!! She started to freak out! But let's just say she made it safely to another island where there were friendly animals and friendly people!
Now we actually skipped forward in time! That’s cool! But as we know this is the end of the story and I hope you enjoyed it!

Once upon a time there lived a little mouse who’s name was Zurielle (I made it up because I forgot the name) and one day she went out into the woods hoping to find some dinner when she went past a log and out came a fox who looked like he found his dinner,so he asked the little mouse “Would you like to have dinner in my house” “…RIGHT” said the mouse getting an amazing idea! She might be small but she can tell very big lies which she had a very big one to tell.
“Little mouse, would you like to come to my house for dinner??” impatiently waiting for an answer, “I am sorry but I’m going to the gruffalo’s house” said the mouse with confidence “what’s the gruffalo??” Asked the fox, “oh well you see the gruffalo is very big and has very sharp claws big enough to slice you in half in a second...and his favourite food is fox stew” says the mouse with no hesitation “Re-really?!?! I’m sorry little mouse but I have to go before I get turned into a stew by the Gruffalo!” the mouse chuckled and soon enough she was laughing! “This would have to be the best lie I have ever told!” Laughed the mouse.
Day after day,each pest that went past the mouse ended up going back to their homes trembling in fear but the mouse? Was having an amazing time! But then one day he was quietly walking in the woods eating some delicious cheese when he saw a big monster! He thought at first it was just a reflection of something small but then the closer the creature got the bigger the shadow got which made the mouse change his mind, “I better run before I get eaten!” said the mouse in his head,but before he knew it he got caught! “What is a small mouse like you doing in the big woods?” Said a mysterious voice…

My superhero writing
If I were to be a superhero I would use my powers for good! I would protect and serve people in need and people that are in danger. I would also use my powers for everyday stuff that you need to do with something else, Like if my power was fire I could just heat up anything!
But the actual power that I want is invincibility so no one can hurt me! If you don’t know what invincibility is, well it’s a power where you can never get hurt and basically no one can beat you beside telekinesis or someone that can make a black hole can beat someone with invincibility because the person with telekinesis can control you and beat you only if you somehow shake it off. The person that can make a black hole can magically put a black hole beneath you,above you and even both sides of you! If you don’t have a strategy you could be very vulnerable in that situation!
So that’s all about me if I was a hero with superpowers!
The GTS challenge
At my school GTS, our wonderful principals put together an amazing opportunity to get a prize!!!! They were giving out brand new stuff like chromebook and ipads which was exciting to hear.
Which brings me to now where all the GTS students are fighting to get a prize like chromebooks and ipads! Even the teachers. I am really excited but I don’t want to get my hopes up especially if I don’t get one.
Wait... did I say chromebooks and ipads???
My reason why I think fireworks should be banned!
Why I think fireworks should be banned is because lots of houses have been burned down because of fireworks. Lots of people have gotten seriously injured also because of fireworks,and I know that lots of people like fireworks but what about animals? Which is a good thing to think about especially if you love your pets! You should learn to know what they like first because some animals are scared of fireworks.
I also learned that fireworks cause deadly and devastating bushfires that cause lots of animals to die and lots of nature to die too! As some people know bushfires are very dangerous at certain times so if you were to do fireworks near trees then maybe you should go away from there and move to a safer space.
In my writing I’m not trying to be rude to people that like fireworks! I’m just saying why some fireworks are dangerous in different situations. But if you use your fireworks for the right reason and the right time then there is no need to stop and ban fireworks!

My Holiday!
In the holidays since I didn’t do much fun stuff like going somewhere I decided to try to have as much fun at home so I decided to learn one of my favourite languages which is Korean! You might be wondering why my favourite language Korean? Well it's because I can’t speak Korean but I know how to sing in Korean because I listen to K-pop which stands for Korean pop. Anyway I learnt some alphabets from the Korean language like b,c,a,u,o,m and so on.
Later on I learnt some new math skills like my squares,my squared roots,my factors and my percentages! I also learnt my brackets. I am quite fluent in my squared roots and squares, I’m almost good with my factors and my percentages and brackets I am working on!
Finally now I’m back to online school and I am still waiting for it to become level 2 or 1! I hope you enjoyed reading my holiday recount and have a good week!

Whangarei - Whangarei is like a home to me because my dad is the leader/pastor of our church camp which is held in Whangarei. I really enjoy going,and plus I have to go anyway!
Glen Taylor - Glen Taylor is VERY VERY important to me because I LOVE it there!! Even if there are bullies I just like having fun and learning with everyone!!

After Matilda’s parents left to go to the airport Matilda and Miss Honey lived happily but not for long...The Wormwoods flight was cancelled! So they came back to Miss Honey’s house and demanded for Matilda to come back! Miss honey questioned them “Why do you want her?” She said,Miss Wormwood shouted “IT WAS GOOD OUR FLIGHT GOT CANCELLED!” No one understood why it was good their flight got cancelled,Not even her husband understood why! “Um why is it good that our flight got cancelled?” Asked Mr Wormwood, Ms Wormwood said that it was good that their flight got cancelled because once they got off the plane to their destination they wouldn’t have enough money for a place to live! No one understood still.
After a bit of silence Ms Honey asked “Why do you need Matilda to help with that problem of yours?” Ms Wormwood was so tired of explaining everything but she knew she had to get through it all so she said “Tomorrow is our pay day from the adoption center for having Matilda for 7 years! They’re giving us 50,000$” Ms Honey was shocked! She wasn’t shocked that they were getting so much money,she was shocked by the fact that they were using Matilda for money. Miss Honey told them to leave so they left.
Finally Matilda and Miss Honey were able to relax and the Wormwoods were to never show up again!

Fathers Day
On Sunday it was fathers day! If you’re in New Zealand,Auckland then you will know we’re at....LEVEL 4 LOCKDOWN!!! While the rest of New Zealand is probably getting there dad or other males like your uncles and grandpas a BIG as present while they still can.
Besides that my fathers day was nice and normal besides the fact we’re in lockdown. I wrote my dad a poem in his card,my baby brother ACTUALLY painted my dad a heart. My baby brother didn’t need any help and no I’m NOT flexing. If you don’t know what flexing is then it means when you’re blabbering about how good something is. So yeah my baby brother actually painted my dad a heart. Everyone was surprised! Finally my older brother drew a comic which was kind of related to fathers day! It was just that it was about family which my brother said was the same thing.
After we surprised our dad with our cards we made some cards for our uncles! It took me only three minutes to draw two amazing cards with lovely writing in it...Ok I’m joking it took me three minutes because I had to hurry and my writing looked AWFUL!! But soon enough I forgot about it.
Finally when my dad got home my family and I had dinner which made me VERY full!

Do you feel scared when someone special to you leaves? Well if you do then read I need my monster!
I said that because in the story a kids monster leaves to do some fishing for A WEEK! He didn't know how he would survive but he did. I can't tell you what will happen next because then I will be spoiling it but it's a really good story.
I recommend if you are scared of monsters under your bed then don't read I need my monster! Besides that I recommend if I need your monster is the right level for you or your teacher,parents or caregivers recommend that you read the book or that it's your level then go ahead!

Has anyone ever said that you give up too fast and can't problem solve? well then read Rumplestiltskin
I said that because in this story a young girl needs to make her way out of a prison and she does but she made the most riskiest promise to a goblin! The promise was that she needed to give her baby to the goblin (If she had one) The girl thought she wouldn't have a baby or get married but she did and had a baby girl! As you would imagine the girl didn't want to give her baby so the goblin promised if the girl figured out the goblins name then he would disappear forever! Do you know what the girl did? She secretly put a gps tracker in the goblins pocket and located his location and luckily she found out his name was something. I didn't want to spoil anything so I didn't say anything.
Since I'm not a professional person at anything I can't quite say what was bad and good! Even if I did say it then my opinion wouldn't matter that much because I bet most people have different opinions and some might have the same!
I recommend that anyone that is able to read junior journals can read RumpleStiltSkin! All I care is if it's a good fit book for whoever reads it!
The B family's pet. (My original name)
One day the B family decided they would get a pet! The father went to the toy shop but there weren’t any cheap puppies or kittens but there was a very cheap dragon? It was a very cheap dragon though because it was only 50$.
At first the dad thought the dragon wasn’t that special so he said “This dragon probably is worthless because of how cheap it is” but then the man at the register said “ This dragon is a very special species and he is the last of his species” so the dad bought the dragon.
When he got home he took the dragon into his son's room with his son. His son named the dragon Special! Before the next day the family didn’t know why their son called the dragon special but in the morning they finally understood why the dragon was so special!
In the morning the whole house was clean,it was a miracle! The family thought it was a coincidence that the whole house was clean but then they saw the dragon cooking breakfast. It truly was a miracle! The family finally understood why the dragon was so special. But soon he got out of hand...Special (the dragon) always woke them up early,made them food when they were full and was always so loud while cleaning! The B family were getting tired of it so they decided they would make a big room where Special could do whatever he wanted. So they did it and it was a success! After that nothing went wrong! Until Special bought a SUPER vacuum...THE END!!

One day a little rabbit was quietly walking home until she came to a dead end where a big wall was standing right in front of her, but before she knew it she saw a big terrifying rabbit in front of her.
She was scared at first but then she started getting angry at her shadow so she shouted at her shadow with a very LOUD voice! The shadow felt sad so the shadow ran away!

Once upon a time there lived a little girl who lived on a farm with her dad! One day she was spinning some straw but then the door slammed and she couldn’t get out! She thought it was her dad's fault,it’s been happening ever since her dad started talking to some other farmers.
So one day all the farmers were talking and one guy started boasting about his daughter. “My daughter is the most beautiful girl in the world” boasted the first man, then the other man said “My daughter can sing like a bird” but Maddie's father said “My daughter can spin straw?” Both of the farmers stared at Maddie's father weirdly! The father couldn’t stop himself especially when he made the worst impression of his daughter EVER! So he exaggerated “My daughter can spin straw into gold!” Both farmers were surprised and they couldn’t help but share the news!
The news was spreading so fast that in no time the king knew about it so he ordered his guards to bring the young girl to him. The king said “I have brought you here to grant me gold” “And what if I don’t your majesty?” Said Maddie then the king said”I will throw you into my deepest dungeon” Maddie couldn’t say no so she agreed to grant him gold! Maddie was devastated and scared because she couldn’t turn straw into gold! But then she heard a voice “Little girl, what will you give me if I turn straw into gold?” Maddie jumped. A strange little goblin appeared in front of her. “How can you help me?” asked Maddie. Maddie checked her pockets and she gave him some fashionable glasses and the goblin took it and whoosh there was no more straw but there was gold everywhere! The king was so happy he wanted more so he put Maddie into a bigger room with more straw and the goblin came again and the same thing happened until Maddie was put into the last and biggest room! Maddie didn’t have anything for the goblin so the goblin said “You have to promise me if you have a baby then I will get to keep that baby and Maddie said “okay” because she thought she was never going to get married until…
20 years later she was married and she was about to have a baby but then she remembered the goblin! Then the day came that she had a baby but before she could name the baby the goblin appeared and said “It is time for you to hand over the baby” Maddie cried “NO you will not take my baby” The goblin was frustrated but then he said “If you can guess my name then you can keep the baby” “How much time do I have” cried Maddie so then the goblin said “You only have three days good luck”
On the first day Maddie was so stuck that she couldn’t guess the goblins name so she only had two days left the next day Maddie secretly put a gps tracker in the goblins pocket and hears the goblin say “Hee Hee Hee tee hee hee she will never know my name is Rumpelstiltskin!” So the next day she tried to act normal and say random names until she asked “Is your name Rumpelstiltskin?” The goblin was so frustrated! He was so frustrated that when he was stomping he made a big hole through the ground and PLOP he was gone! Then Maddie had a good life wile the goblin wasn’t having much of a good time!

Lockdown for me 1
Today is the 2nd day of lockdown! lockdown is sooo boring. It's like a contagious wall blocking us from seeing each other but then some awesome people came up with an idea! That we stay in our safety bubbles that protect us from the contagious wall while they do some research.
Soon they found some information about the contagious wall!! Its name was covid 19! They also figured out it's not just in our small country but all around the earth! I wonder if it exists in space if so then I hope everyone is ok! Then they figured out that it's weakness is clean... like soap and water mixed together is it's worst enemy! hand sanitizer minions are scary as well...for covid not me obviously...so some people might think that soap ,water and hand sanitizer will help us make a difference! But I think people are the key to getting rid of covid!

Lockdown for me is really boring!
We always need to wash our hands and we need to wear masks that we can't even eat or drink from! What a waste of a few seconds that you can do lot's of stuff with like buy stuff, go to the movies, play video games in bed and...wait...back to the topic...what was I talking about again? Oh yeah lockdown! Another reason is that we need to stay 1 meter away from each other like what if you went to visit someone far away for an interview but you need to talk loudly just so that you can take an interview! What kind of interview is that?
So another reason I don't like lockdown is that if you have something planned like a family vacation because you haven't had one in so long because everyone is normally so busy but then was your only chance but your plans got cancelled and you never had a family vacation! And no they don't live together so they can't spend time then! Lockdown is a bummer like seriously! Especially when you need groceries and then you can't get them! Covid 19 is going to starve us with us in lockdown! Some people think all the cleaning stuff will help us win over covid 19! but I believe people will make a change by making good decisions and listening to the rules! Then soon enough all the doctors and other helpers will be able to give us some good news but until then we'll work together to...

My Rock Discovery!
During the holidays I was walking by myself to a place that I had no idea existed until I suddenly saw an avocado shaped rock with a bunch of pebbles inside of it! It looked like the pebbles were having a bath in the enormous rock.
First I looked at the pebbles and moved them around. Then I looked closer and I found a weird looking rock! It wasn’t grey but It was lots of different colours like red,black,brown,white,yellow and more!! The enormous rock looked beautiful when it was colourful until...I took some of the rocks...well I did take lots of rocks but they looked so cool! I couldn’t resist it.
Soon almost all the rocks were gone but since I was feeling good I didn’t take all the rocks and I left some so it would be colourful in the avocado shaped rock.
Finally I went back home and I showed my family my rocks! My mum,brothers and nana liked them but my dad wasn’t so happy about it!
My favourite part was how I got so many beautiful and extraordinary rocks that I really love!!
Alan is a tremendous dog and he is a very nice.
Little dog but he does BIG changes in peoples lives.
Alan used to be a guide dog. So loyal!
Now he is my best dog friend forever!
